Sandy is one of two midbosses ofSherbet Desert inMario + Rabbids Kingdom Battle. As its name suggests, it is aRabbid fused with a dust tornado, born from one of two Rabbids frozen in glacial ice-sand when Spawny blasted it with the SupaMerge. It is fought alongside its weaker ally,Blizzy.

Sandy has 420 HP and Blizzy has half of Sandy's HP. Sandy's only actual damaging attack consists of throwing bombs, which destroyMega Blocks and inflict theBurn status on characters closest to the explosion, leading to a critical every time. Sandy will sometimes set itself on fire as well if it is near the explosion. The bombs also deal 65 damage every time unless the opponent is on lower ground than it, in which case they deal 98 damage instead. Sandy can also summon a protective shield which must be destroyed before it can be attacked. If Blizzy is defeated, Sandy will continue fighting until it is defeated. Sandy normally battles at a close range, while Blizzy attacks from a distance.
