Rollodillo is a boss inSuper Mario Galaxy 2. It is fought in theBoulder Bowl Galaxy in the missionRock and Rollodillo. Rollodillo shares its boss theme withSorbetti,Prince Pikante, andPeewee Piranha.
Appearance[edit]
Rollodillo is a large, blue creature resembling an armadillo. It has a pointed snout, a pair of brown, rocky horns, and a pair of yellow and red eyes. The majority of its body is covered in brown rocks while the rest of its body is largely covered in blue fur and, under the rocks on its torso, scutes.
Battle[edit]
Rollodillo attacks by charging at Mario and rolling around the planetoid like aboulder. In order to damage the boss, Mario must transform into a boulder in hisRock form and ram into Rollodillo's backside, with the easier opportunity being when it is dizzy after it stops rolling. Attempting to attack its rear with aSpin Attack will not deal any damage to it. Mario must successfully attack it four times in order to defeat it, with Rollodillo rolling in more rapid bursts for each hit landed. Upon defeat, Rollodillo lands on its back and curls up before exploding, granting Mario thePower Star.
