Relaxing Benches are objects that appear inPaper Mario: The Origami King. WhenMario sits on one, all of his HP gets restored and he andOlivia often engage in a conversation. They can be found in numerous locations throughout the game.

Red streamer area[edit]

The first Relaxing Bench is found in the Toad camp ofWhispering Woods. Mario is required to sit on this bench to proceed, and Olivia explains how benches heal him. Another is found inToad Town outside of theBattle Lab and is initially aNot-Bottomless Hole. While there are stillPaper Macho Goombas around, Olivia comments it is hard to relax with monsters nearby.

The last Relaxing Bench in the red streamer area is under a shelter inOverlook Mountain also initially a Not-Bottomless Hole. Olivia comments how she feels relaxed by the sound of the water.

Blue streamer area[edit]

Two Relaxing Benches can be found inAutumn Mountain. The first one is near theCanned-Food Par-tay Trio, where whileBob-omb is in the party, Olivia wonders if the air in Autumn Mountain is also red, and after Bob-omb's sacrifice, Olivia reminisces on how Bob-omb always ran ahead and got lost. The second bench is outside the satellite office, where while Bob-omb is in the party, Olivia questions why leaves fall off trees in autumn, and after Bob-omb's sacrifice, Olivia reminisces on how they kept loosing Bob-omb inChestnut Valley.

One Relaxing Bench is found inShogun Studios outside of theTranquil Pipes Teahouse. While Bob-omb is in the party, he and Olivia wonder why Shogun Studios has its name, and after Bob-omb's sacrifice, Olivia reminisces on their time in the park with Bob-omb.

Yellow streamer area[edit]

InBreezy Tunnel, the log Olivia is found on acts like a Relaxing Bench after she is cheered up.

One Relaxing Bench is found inShroom City near the hotel. While the sun is gone, Olivia comments how the city is still bright while the desert is dark, and after the sun is restored,Professor Toad informs Mario and Olivia how the sun was sacred to Shroom City.

Another Relaxing Bench is found deep in theFire Vellumental Cave, where Olivia comments on how even the bench feels burning hot.

Purple streamer area[edit]

One Relaxing Bench is found on the far side ofClub Island where Mario must bringFeelin' Fungi. Another is found inDiamond Island outside of theTrial of Courage, where the nearby Toad statue says to take a break and have a snack.

Green streamer area[edit]

One Relaxing Bench is found in the plaza ofShangri-Spa, where Olivia comments on the amount of hot springs in the area andKamek states he cares solely aboutBowser Jr.'s well-being.

Origami Castle[edit]

BeforePeach's Castle transforms intoOrigami Castle, one Relaxing Bench is found in the only accessible room from the entrance hall, whereBowser notices the nearby huge hole in the wall, and Olivia recognizes the shape from the wallLuigi was saved from. The last Relaxing Bench is found outside ofKing Olly's throne room and is sat on automatically, where Mario and Bowser encourage Olivia to be brave for their battle against King Olly.
