Red Boos, also known asPink Boos inMario Party 6 andMario Party 7, are a pink-colored (or occasionally light red-colored) variant ofBoo that appears in theMario Party series. They are treated and behave similarly to white Boos, with the only difference being their coloration in most depictions, likely to avoid confusion with the playable Boo. Starting withMario Party: Island Tour, their role of an alternate behavior for Boos has seemingly gone toPeepas.
Other red-colored or pink-colored Boos have appeared in otherSuper Mario games—namely thethird Boo raced in the You VS. Boo mode ofSuper Mario Bros.
