Rainbow Run, otherwise known asWorldStar-1, is the firstlevel ofWorld Star inSuper Mario 3D World and itsNintendo Switch portSuper Mario 3D World + Bowser's Fury. The course is unlocked by defeatingMeowser inWorld Bowser and access to theRocket in World 1 and its own completion unlocksSuper Galaxy.

The music is the arrangement ofSuper Mario Bros.'sGround Theme that plays in various levels inSuper Mario 3D Land (such as in that game'sWorld 2-3). InSuper Mario Odyssey, the course's music is reused when Mario isinvincible.

Layout[edit]

This level features many rainbow colored platforms with Skipsqueaks running across them. The player needs to usetrapezes to jump across platforms. After reaching theCheckpoint Flag, the players must hop onPlessie. After riding Plessie, there is aHidden Block containing aFire Flower. Here the player must light the torches to reveal aCloud Cannon that shoots them to a bonus room. Here they must light all of the floor tiles. This reveals a hidden 8-bitLink sprite. There is also a Hidden Block containing aMega Mushroom. At the end of the level, there are severalP Switches that reveal some Coins. The last one, however, causes aCoin shower right before theGoal Pole.

Green Stars[edit]

	Above the first pair ofBrick Blocks is aWarp Pipe that can only be reached viaSuper Bell. The pipe leads to a room where the player needs to maneuver the balls to the goals, which allows the first Green Star to appear.
	After jumping off Plessie, the player must use theFire Flower to light two torches in order to reveal a hiddenCloud Cannon that leads to an area where the player needs to light up all theColor Panels to reveal an 8-bit image ofLink and the second Green Star.
	Immediately after the second Green Star, the player needs to activate theGreen Star Ring and collect all eightGreen Star Coins.
