Rainbow Galleria is a board that appears inSuper Mario Party Jamboree. It takes place in a shopping mall that consists of a ground floor and two elevated floors, which can be climbed up towards or climbed down from through pink and blue escalators. Players can also use the elevator to go between the ground floor and the top floor, but they must pay 5 coins to enter it. In this board, a flash sale will occasionally take place, in whichStars anditems can be purchased for half the price for one turn. Several shops sell special items that cannot normally be found in shops, such as theBoo Bell orSuper Dueling Glove; however, players must land on anEvent Space to shop at them. There are also four colored stamp stations (blue, red, yellow and green) located throughout theboard. If a player collects all four stamps, they receive 50coins, and unlock the "A Collector's Soul" achievement if done for the first time.

Rainbow Galleria is referenced on a sign inRoll 'em Raceway.

Events[edit]

Mechanics[edit]

  • Flash sale: Every fifth turn, there is a flash sale where all items and Stars are sold at half price (rounded down), except for the One-Coin Shop. The flash sale lasts one turn.

Event Spaces[edit]

These special shops can only be visited by landing on either of the two Event Spaces in front of them (except Boo Shop, which has only one Event Space in front of it). Unlike the Koopa Troopa Shop and the One-Coin Shop, these shops have unlimited stocks of items even in Pro Rules.

  • Last-Place Shop: The leftmost shop on the third floor is this special shop that can only be visited by the player in last place, hosted by a blueSnifit. This last place player receives 15 coins and can buy an item from this shop, even if the 15-coin bonus would make this player no longer in last place. Nothing happens if a player not in last place stops here.
  • Super Shop: One of the shops on the third floor is this special shop, hosted by a pinkShy Guy, which sells items that have the word "super" in their names, such as theSuper Creepy Dice,Super Swap Mirror andSuper Dueling Glove.
  • Gold Shop: One of the shops on the third floor is this special shop, hosted by aGold Goomba, which sells "gold items" such asPayday Double Dice,Payday Triple Dice, andGolden Pipe.
  • Thrift Store: Landing on either of the two Event Spaces on the far right of the third floor causes aWhomp to forcefully buy one of the items that the player has, but in exchange, the player receives an amount of coins equal to twice its original cost in the shop, except forLoadstone, which the Whomp buys for 20 coins.
  • Boo Shop: One of the shops on the second floor is this shop, which only sells a single item,Boo Bell for 15 coins. This shop is hosted by aPeepa instead of aBoo.
  • Drawing: On the second floor, landing on either of the two Event Spaces in front of the Raffle Shop allows the player to participate in this event if they have previously bought items. The player gets to make one drawing per item purchased, and can win either 1, 5, 15, 30 coins, or a Golden Pipe respectively for drawing a white, green, blue, red or golden ball. This event is similar to the Lottery Ball Game used in theLottery Shop fromMario Party 4.

Passing Spaces[edit]

  • Koopa Troopa Stamp Stations: There are four colored stamp stations on the board: blue on the first floor, red on the second floor, and yellow and green on the third floor. The player can collect each stamp for their Stamp Sheet by simply passing through the matching stamp station. At any time, the player can pass through the Stamp Rally Reception desk on the first floor to exchange it for coins based on how many stamps they collected (10, 20, 30 or 50 respectively for one, two, three or all four stamps collected) and receive another Stamp Sheet. If the player reaches Stamp Rally Reception desk without a full Stamp Sheet, they may also choose to not receive coins and continue collecting stamps for more coins.
  • Elevator: When passing through the elevator on the first floor or the third floor, they may respectively choose to go up to the third floor or go down to the first floor, for a price of 5 coins per character (so 10 coins if the player has a Jamboree Buddy).
  • One-Coin Shop: Kamek's shop on the ground floor is the special One-Coin Shop, where all items cost only one coin at all times, including during flash sales.

Notes[edit]

The items from Messy Memory visible in the Rainbow Galleria board
The items fromMessy Memory
  • The store window located between the Boo Shop and the Raffle Shop displays the items used inMessy Memory fromMario Party 3 andMario Party Superstars.
  • By havingPeach as a Jamboree Buddy while a flash sale takes place, it is possible to purchase two Stars for as little as 10 coins in total, provided the player is not under the effect of aMarkup Sticker. Similarly, by havingDaisy as a Jamboree Buddy during a flash sale, it is possible to purchase items at quarter the normal price.
  • If Pro Rules are being played on this board, it is possible to have a Flash Sale during the last five turns. This occurs on the 10th turn of 12 turns.
  • When the player lands on a Chance Time Space, the ceiling breaks after they are launched by its spring. This does not occur in any other boards in the game, as they lack ceilings.
  • If a player sells an item which is not sold at item shops toWhomp in the Thrift Store, how much it is worth when given to Whomp is twice its price from previous games.
  • WhenToad,Toadette,Goomba,Shy Guy, orSpike is taking a turn, there is a stool for them to stand on for the raffle due to their height.
