Propeller Platforms[1] are objects inSuper Mario 3D World andCaptain Toad: Treasure Tracker (andits Nintendo 3DS version). They are grated platforms with a propeller on the underside of each. When the player blows into theWii U GamePad or Nintendo 3DS's microphone, the platforms either rise into the air or move to the end of a set path. After some time, they move back to their origin points. In theNintendo Switch versions ofSuper Mario 3D World andCaptain Toad: Treasure Tracker, they are replaced byLifts, invisibleCloud Lifts, andTouchstones due to the console's lack of a microphone.
