Prisma Cardware
Prisma Cardware (referred to as theCard Shop in the online manual) is aBattle Card shop inPaper Mario: Color Splash, found in the blue district ofPort Prisma. The shop is opened afterMario repaints the owner, ablue Toad. Both painted and non-painted cards are sold at the store, the former of which costs more coins. ASuper Flag is awarded for purchasing 200 cards from Prisma Cardware.
As the player progresses in the game, more cards become available for purchase. A red Toad appears outside of the shop, and tells Mario whenever a new card is available. At the start of the game, only Jump, Hopslipper, Hammer, and Mushrooms are available. Most cards become available in the shop after Mario finds them in the world, with both the painted and unpainted versions unlocking at the same time. The exceptions are 1-Up Mushrooms, which become available after collecting the purpleBig Paint Star fromFortune Island, and Huge Jumps and Huge Hammers, which are unlocked after opening a path fromGreen Energy Plant toMossrock Theater.
