Power Rush is abadge inPaper Mario andPaper Mario: The Thousand-Year Door. InPaper Mario, it is found inPeach's Castle, inside of the castle's library between a couple of shelves; it can be obtained either byMario or byPrincess Peach, who can send it to Mario via aMysterious Treasure Chest (which Mario can access from the other treasure chest atShooting Star Summit). InPaper Mario: The Thousand-Year Door, it can be bought from theLovely Howz of Badges inRogueport for fiftycoins, bought from thePianta Parlor for thirty-fourpianta tokens with theGold Card, or rarely held or dropped byParatroopas andShady Koopas. IfMario equips it, when he enters theDanger state (which occurs when hisHP reaches between two and five points), his attack power increases by two. This badge works alongside others that activate when Mario is inPeril or Danger, such asLast Stand andClose Call. InPaper Mario, the attack power bonus fromMega Rush overrides the bonus from Power Rush. InPaper Mario: The Thousand-Year Door, the attack power bonuses from Power Rush and Mega Rush will stack.Power Rush P has the same effect, but works exclusively on Mario'spartner.

In the English version of theNintendo GameCube version ofPaper Mario: The Thousand-Year Door and the English version of theNintendo Switch remake, the badge is embossed with the letter "D", which likely stands for "Danger", the state that is mentioned in the badge's description. However, in the Japanese version of the original game and the Japanese, Chinese, and Korean versions of the remake, the letter is instead "P" (likely for "Pinch", the Danger state's original Japanese name), making the badge resemble its original design fromPaper Mario.

InPaper Mario, when this badge or Mega Rush takes effect, afterimages follow Mario as he attacks.
