Potato Gelato is the signature dish of Freezin Village inMario & Luigi: Brothership, made fromHeatfreeze Potatoes.

WhenMario andLuigi visitHeatfreeze Island for the first time, they come across fiery and icyConcordians squabbling in front of the path leading to thelighthouse. When the Bros. try to get past them, the villagers then ask the brothers to taste a sample of their dish to find out if the gelato or if theHottato Stew is the best. AfterSnoutlet and the Bros. try a sample of each, they return to the villagers, telling them that the two dishes are better together. Despite this, the villagers still disagree, and decide to make a new recipe that will trump the other village's dish.

For a price of 10coins, the Bros. can try the gelato to restore theirHP andBP.

Potato Gelato is needed in theLonely Great Conductor side quest, where it must be given to theGreat Conductor.
