Yume Kōjō: Doki Doki Panic /Super Mario Bros. 2[edit]
Yume Kōjō: Doki Doki Panic marks the first appearance of "Please Select Player". When that game was later redeveloped asSuper Mario Bros. 2, the theme was given slightly more enhanced instrumentation and has been extended by several measures, which is the version subsequent appearances of the theme in theSuper Mario franchise are based on. TheSuper Mario Bros. 2 version is also included in the official albumsGame Sound Museum: Mario Bros. / Super Mario USA,Famicom Sound History Series: Mario the Music, andNintendo Sound Selection Vol.3: B-Side Music.
Super Mario All-Stars[edit]
In theSNESremake ofSuper Mario Bros. 2 inSuper Mario All-Stars, an arrangement of "Please Select Player" plays for the same purpose as in the original game. This arrangement is reused for the same purpose inSuper Mario All-Stars + Super Mario World andSuper Mario All-Stars Limited Edition.

Super Mario Advance[edit]
In theGame Boy Advance remake ofSuper Mario Bros. 2,Super Mario Advance, an arrangement of "Please Select Player" plays for the same purpose as in the original game. This arrangement plays in a slightly higher pitch, aside from the drums and percussion.

Super Mario 3D World /Super Mario 3D World + Bowser's Fury[edit]
InSuper Mario 3D World and theNintendo Switchport,Super Mario 3D World + Bowser's Fury, an arrangement of "Please Select Player" plays in theLucky House slot machine minigames and in golden bonus rooms. This arrangement is inD-flat major, a half semitone up from theSuper Mario Advance arrangement. It is titled "Slot Machine" in the officialSuper Mario 3D World Original Soundtrack album.

Super Mario Maker 2[edit]

InMario Kart World, aDixieland jazz arrangement of "Please Select Player" can play inFree Roam during the day, on theroute fromMario Circuit toPeach Stadium in theSpecial Cup, and on any VS Race route. This arrangement is in the same key as theSuper Mario Advance arrangement. It was also featured in theMario Kart World Direct, where it plays during the "Fun with Everyone" section.
