Piranha Sprouts are enemies encountered inCaptain Toad: Treasure Tracker and itsNintendo Switch andNintendo 3DSports. They are common enemies that appear in various stages. They are small orangeMole-likePiranha Plants with a large white mouth. They sprout out of the ground to spit seed-likebombs atCaptain Toad orToadette, then bury back into the ground. They cannot be defeated by landing on them, but if they are plucked while buried, they can be thrown which both collects items and defeats them.
