Piranha Plant Spaces are spaces that first appear inMario Party: Island Tour, on the boardsPerilous Palace Path andKamek's Carpet Ride. If the player lands on one, then aPiranha Plant eats them up and sends them backwards a randomly chosen number of spaces between one and six. This is similar to theBack Spaces fromMario Party 3,Mario Party 9, andMario Party 10, except that Piranha Plant Spaces always hinder the player's progress.
