Peepas areBoo-like enemies debuting inSuper Mario 3D Land. They are small, white ghosts with stubby arms, two teeth, black eyes with white pupils, and a smiling mouth. They are somewhat comparable toEeries fromSuper Mario World in that they travel in predetermined paths. Certain appearances likeNew Super Mario Bros. 2 give them a bluish glow, similar to Boos.

Super Mario series[edit]
Super Mario 3D Land[edit]
Peepas appear only in theGhost House levels inSuper Mario 3D Land. Peepas often appear with Boos, although they do not go afterMario orLuigi. Peepas either remain in place or, similar toOctoboos, sometimes circle an area. A Peepa can only be defeated byInvincible Mario.
New Super Mario Bros. 2[edit]
Peepas return inNew Super Mario Bros. 2, now behaving like theCircling Boo Buddies ofSuper Mario World. They first show up inWorld 2-
Ghost House. Peepas carryghost-coasters inWorld 3-
Ghost House when Mario or Luigi stands on one, and though these Peepas do not damage the player character, they do tilt the ghost-coaster and disappear with it upon reaching the end point.
Super Mario 3D World /Super Mario 3D World + Bowser's Fury[edit]
Peepas reappear inSuper Mario 3D World andits port. Unlike before, it takes aLight Box to defeat a Peepa, which makes a terrified face when shone at and a distorted sound upon being defeated. Captain Toad's headlamp in theCaptain Toad's Adventures levels, exclusive to the enhanced port, can defeat Peepas andBoos in the manner of a Light Box.
Super Mario Maker 2[edit]
Peepas are placeable enemies in only theSuper Mario 3D World style ofSuper Mario Maker 2, though their behavior is derived fromNew Super Mario Bros. 2.
Mario Party series[edit]
Mario Party: Island Tour[edit]
Peepas appear in a fewminigames ofMario Party: Island Tour. They are displayed in a scene ofGet Reel, chasing Mario down a corridor.[1] The goal ofHorror Harriers is to avoid them for as long as possible. ThePeep a Peepa minigame involves shining a light on them for as long as possible.[2]
Mario Party 10[edit]
Peepas are the main obstacles of the minigamePeepa Panic inMario Party 10.
Mario Party: Star Rush[edit]

Peepas are obstacles in the minigamesHouse of Boos andKing Boo's Light Smite ofMario Party: Star Rush, where they grab players on contact and return them to the start. They are also the main obstacles ofWorld 2-2 andWorld 2-3 in Toad Scramble. They disguise themselves as a duplicate ally at first, but when a player approaches, the Peepa reveals itself and gives theCursed Dice Block. The Peepa disappears after some time.
Super Mario Party[edit]
A Peepa can be summoned by using thePeepa Bell inSuper Mario Party. It targets a player for a turn, taking a coin away each time they move.
Mario Party Superstars[edit]
Various Peepas appear in theHorror Land game board ofMario Party Superstars.
Super Mario Party Jamboree[edit]
Peepas reappear inSuper Mario Party Jamboree in the minigamesGate Key-pers andJr.'s Jauntlet as a possible obstacle. One Peepa also appears as a shopkeeper atRainbow Galleria, selling onlyBoo Bells. A Peepa also appears as a selectable reaction in the reactions list.
Captain Toad: Treasure Tracker[edit]
Peepas are enemies inCaptain Toad: Treasure Tracker and itsports. They behave identically as inSuper Mario 3D World, except Peepas are defeated if shone withCaptain Toad's orToadette's headlamps for long enough, though the process is shortened under the effects of aDouble Cherry.

A Peepa appears in volume 46 ofSuper Mario-kun. It encourages aTail Boo to scare Mario. At the end of the chapter, the Peepa gets buried by an avalanche along with the Tail Boo, theTail Boo's father, and the Bros.

Mario Tennis Fever[edit]

InMario Tennis Fever, there is aFever Racket shaped like a Peepa. When used, it makes the player semi-transparent.
Dr. Mario World[edit]
Peepas appear as assistants inDr. Mario World. Their stage mode effect increases the player's base score for every greenvirus that is eliminated. Their versus mode effect grants a chance one of the viruses that appear is transformed into anexploder when all viruses in the player's play area are eliminated. The amount of points gained and the chance of an exploder appearing are increased at higher levels, starting from 50 points and 20% respectively to 200 points and 100% respectively. Peepas also appear as background objects inWorld 4 when all stages are cleared.
Mario Kart World[edit]
Peepa appears as a playable character inMario Kart World, marking its playable debut in theMario Kart series and theSuper Mario franchise as a whole. Itsemblem is a depiction of its mouth.
Peepa is an unlockable character, unlocked for permanent use when theKamek item transforms the player into one for the first time onBoo Cinema. It is a lightweight character, sharing statistics withBaby Mario,Baby Luigi,Baby Rosalina,Goomba,Dry Bones,Sidestepper,Spike, andFish Bone.
Peepas appear on certainroutes. They do not act as obstacles; when a player drives into them, they turn into a Coin.
