Member ofVoid Company

Peekabruiser is the first boss ofDonkey Kong Bananza. It is a cube-shaped octopus-like creature formed out of multiplePeekaboopoids that is fought in theLagoon Layer. It is created byGrumpy Kong afterVoid Company confrontsDonkey Kong andPauline for the first time. It attacks by firing Peekaboopoids from its mouth, and moves quickly around the arena to avoid being hit. It changes its body intoconcrete in order to defend itself from normal attacks, but this can be bypassed by using theKong Bananza. When enough damage is taken, it breaks apart and turns into a mass of Peekaboopoids, running away and forming a hill while Peekaboopoids attack Donkey Kong. In this state, its weak point is exposed and can be attacked to damage and defeat the boss.

It reappears in theLandfill Layer under the nameRe-Peekabruiser when Grumpy Kong again constructs it in an attempt to prevent Donkey Kong from progressing further. During this fight, it moves faster and when it begins to form a hill, it now creates a pit around it to trap Donkey Kong.

In theDK Island & Emerald Rush DLC, a statue of Peekabruiser can be collected and placed in the East Ruins nearby DK's Tree House onDK Island.
