ThePatio is a room in theGloomy Manor inLuigi's Mansion: Dark Moon. This area is accessed by using theDark-Light Device to reveal a hidden door near theLibrary in theCommon Hall or by taking the south door in theKitchen. It is a large, wide-open area. There are several flowers that can be flashed with theStrobulb to dropbills. There is a large fountain in the center with three statues similar toCheep Cheeps, one of which is hidden bySpirit Balls. To the right of the fountain is a statue ofProfessor E. Gadd using a propeller-powered jetpack. Blowing on the propeller either makes the statue release a key or money, depending on the mission. Taking the top left door takesLuigi back to the Common Hall and the north door takes him to the Kitchen. There is a hidden door in the middle of the left wall that takes Luigiunder the stairs of theFoyer.
During A-5:Sticky Situation, aGold Greenie as well as a normalGreenie are playing in the fountain in the Patio. The E. Gadd statue also yields money instead of akey.
Starting on A-4 and all subsequent missions, the player can shine the Dark-Light Device on the missing statue to have it spit out anamethyst.
