Thepaper trampoline is akey item inMario & Luigi: Paper Jam. WhenMario,Luigi, andPaper Mario attempt to cross a bridge leading to the eastern portion ofDoop Doop Dunes, aBig Pokey andPaper Tower Power Pokey slam into it, knocking the three into theDoop Doop Dunes Grotto. When they make it back to the surface, they find a Toad Village with aLakitu Info Center.Starlow asks thePaper Toads if they can make them something to help them jump really high. After more Paper Toad rescue missions have been completed,Delivery Toad arrives with a delivery fromPeach's Castle containing both the paper trampoline and a newTrio Attack,Trio Kite. Mario, Luigi, and Paper Mario then return to the grotto, where they place the paper trampoline down and use it to launch themselves onto a high nearby platform, allowing them to fight thePokey duo. The three can use the paper trampoline for the rest of the game, and they can grab on to the bridge whenA Button is pressed at the right time.
