He is involved in theMushroom Ball Derby sidequest, in which the player finds 16 Mushroom Balls hidden by the organizers around the mall and bring them to him. He rewardsMario andLuigi with items as they bring Mushroom Balls to him.

InMario & Luigi: Bowser's Inside Story + Bowser Jr.'s Journey, the PR Toad is now a normal red Toad.
