P-Up, D-Down P is abadge available inPaper Mario: The Thousand-Year Door, acting as a parallel toP-Down, D-Up P. It is found in thePalace of Shadow, inside of a red? Block before the room that loops itself, and can be rarely dropped by or stolen fromDark Koopatrols andElite X-Nauts. Suppose the badge is equipped byMario. In that case, it lowers the defense of hispartner by one, increasing the amount of damage they take from all enemy attacks, while also boosting their attack by one, increasing the damage of all of their attacks (excluding items). The badge's effects stack if multiple copies of it are equipped.P-Up, D-Down is a variation of the badge that exclusively affects Mario.
