AOne-Way Wall is an object found inSuper Mario Maker,Super Mario Maker for Nintendo 3DS, andSuper Mario Maker 2. One-Way Walls are available in all game styles exceptSuper Mario Maker 2'sSuper Mario 3D World style. Like with theflippers from theYoshi's Island games or thehinged panels from theNew Super Mario Bros. games, onceMario passes through the gate, he cannot go back through it from the other side. When pointed upwards, One-Way Walls act similarly toSemisolid Platforms, and when pointed downwards, they act similarly toHidden Blocks. A One-Way Wall is the size of four regularblocks, and the arrows imprinted on it indicate the direction in which Mario can enter.
One-Way Walls can be used in conjunction withWarp Pipes and terrain to recreate one-way pipes found in severalSuper Mario games, except inSuper Mario Maker 2'sSuper Mario 3D World style due to their absence.
