TheMusikantenstadl is a medieval-inspired Halloween fair appearing in theClub Nintendo comic "Super Mario in Die Nacht des Grauens".
AfterMario tries a spell inNecronomicon, he and his friends are sucked into a light beam and end up at the fair. A masked man welcomes them to the fair, withLink andKirby wondering where they have ended up. At the end of the comic, Link and Kirby are enjoying the fair, though Mario comments that it is "worse thanHell".
Naming[edit]
The Musikantenstadl is named after a German live-action entertainment television show of thesame name featuringVolkstümliche Musik. This show is often sneered at by teenagers, explaining Mario's reaction to fair.
