TheMushroom Powder is one ofToad's special items inMario Kart Arcade GP,Mario Kart Arcade GP 2 andMario Kart Arcade GP DX.

Upon being used, the Mushroom Powder will drop behind the user's kart, producing a purple cloud on the racetrack. Any racers that run into the cloud will lose speed and will also gain a random status effect chosen from the status effects associated withMushroom items, such as theInvisible Mushroom or theHeavy Mushroom.

While the Mushroom Powder is a bag emblazoned with aPoison Mushroom icon, an unused alternate model of the Mushroom Powder exists which depicts it with a generic purple Mushroom instead.
