Moo Moo Farm (transliterated asMoh Moh Farm on a few occasions)^[1][2] is the secondrace course of theMushroom Cup inMario Kart 64. This course takes place in a farmland, withMonty Moles andMoo Moos in it. Just like all Mushroom Cup courses, this course is relatively simple and is the shortest course in the game, measuring at 527 meters. A sign reading "Nintendo Moo Moo Farm" can also be found on Moo Moo Meadows.Moo Moo Farmcargo trucks also appear inMario Kart: Double Dash!!, which reference the name of the course and also feature pictures of the Moo Moos and fences on the sides. This course shares its music withYoshi Valley.

Moo Moo Farm reappears as a classic course inMario Kart DS as the second race of theShell Cup. It is the only course from theMushroom Cup inMario Kart 64 that does not reappear as a classic course inMario Kart 7 orMario Kart Tour, although references to the course were added to the latter's data in the 2025 re-run of thePeach vs. Bowser Tour.^[3]

A spiritual successor to Moo Moo Farm,Moo Moo Meadows, debuted inMario Kart Wii. Moo Moo Meadows is referred to internally as "Moo Moo Farm" in files found inMario Kart World's official website.

Mario Kart 64[edit]

Course layout[edit]

The course takes place on a farm withMoo Moos visible in the background. It is composed of a wide dirt road that has fences on both sides and makes a single clockwise loop, though there are also some slight left turns and changes in elevation. The track has four sets ofItem Boxes, andChubbies appear as obstacles along the inside of a couple of the turns. There are also two bridges that go over the track; the first can be found about halfway along the track and briefly narrows the track, while the second can be found at the end and is supported by pillars that racers must drive around. The track itself also has aNintendo logo printed on it, which is visible to the left of the second item set.

The course is the shortest inMario Kart 64, and it is one of the shortest courses in the whole series.

Mario Kart DS[edit]

Moo Moo Farm makes its classic course debut inMario Kart DS as the second course of theShell Cup. It has received only improved terrain and graphics, but no game mechanics have been changed. There are also now fewer Monty Moles. In addition, this is the only course in the Shell Cup to not be a circuit, as well as not being the introductory track from the original game. It was one of the courses that could be played overNintendo Wi-Fi Connection.

There are twomissions that take place on Moo Moo Farm:

• Mission 1-7: The player controlsDonkey Kong, who must collect 20coins scattered along the track within 35 seconds. Immediately after starting, the player can obtain a set ofTriple Mushrooms from a loneItem Box.
• Mission 3-6: The player controlsLuigi, who must useGreen Shells to take out 5Monty Moles within 65 seconds.

• Main page bio: "Moo Moo Farm is essentially a wide, slightly distorted oval. The track's surface, however, is very bumpy in some places, and slopes up on either side. From the Starting Line, the course goes into a dip and then into a gradual right turn. It's after that first turn that you might run into some of the course's many moles. A racer who crashes into a mole will wipe out, just as if he had hit a Fake Item. After the first turn, there is an easy S-curve which then goes into a broad straightaway.
