Mini Mario Card
- This article is about the cards in theMario vs. Donkey Kong series. For the items inSuper Mario Bros. 3 also known as "panels", seeCard.
Mini Mario Cards,[1][2][3] also shortened toCards,[4] are collectable items with a picture ofMini Mario and a letter on the back of them. They appear in theMario vs. Donkey Kong series, being introduced inMario vs. Donkey Kong 2: March of the Minis and reappearing inMario vs. Donkey Kong: Minis March Again! andMario vs. Donkey Kong: Mini-Land Mayhem!. In each game, there are nine cards in each world; when placed in order, they spell out "MINIMARIO". The level number of a floor corresponds to the letter on a card as it appears in "MINIMARIO" (e.g.Room 2-5 has an "M" card). InMario vs. Donkey Kong 2: March of the Minis andMario vs. Donkey Kong: Mini-Land Mayhem!, a Mini Mario Card is worth 1,000 points when collected; however, inMario vs. Donkey Kong: Minis March Again! only, it is worth 2,000 points.
InMario vs. Donkey Kong 2: March of the Minis, collecting all nine cards on a certain floor unlocks theminigameShy Guy Smash! for that floor. InMario vs. Donkey Kong: Minis March Again!, doing this instead unlocks theSpecial Level for that floor. Finally, inMario vs. Donkey Kong: Mini-Land Mayhem!, collecting all nine cards in an attraction unlocks itsMinigame level.
