Themexican[sic] tile is a single tile from theZócalo inMexico City that is stolen byKoopa Troopas in the PC version ofMario is Missing!. Without this tile, the Zócalo is forced to close untilLuigi tracks it down and returns it.
These tiles are described as red and white by the Zócalo's pamphlet, but do not appear this way either in-game or in real life. The pamphlet also describes them being made by Spanish settlers using igneous rocks taken from Aztec temples.
