Meowbombs are robotic cat-like enemies fromSuper Paper Mario. They simply walk around and detonate on contact, but they can also explode after a certain amount of time. They only appear in Chapter 3-4: The Battle of Fort Francis and Chapter 8-2: The Crash, as they were deployed in the player's battle(s) againstFrancis. Using his laptop, Francis could summon several Meowbombs to attackMario and his allies. InFort Francis,SurpriseMeows also shoot Meowbombs at the player. Ironically, the only way to defeat a SurpriseMeow was to useThoreau's abilities in order to clog its cannon with Meowbombs, causing it to self destruct.
