Menlo Park is anunincorporated community in theUnited States of America whereThomas Edison worked on countless inventions and innovations, notably thephonograph, thecarbon microphone, and theincandescent light bulb. This light bulb was completed in 1879 through the use of a thin strip of carbonized bamboo, and inMario's Time Machine,Mario travels back in time to 1879 Menlo Park to return theFilament afterBowser steals it. As he does not know that the Filament belongs to Thomas Edison, he asks the locals about the Filament, who all talk about Edison and how the Filament is almost certainly his.
