Mel is a speedy-type character fromUnion that appears inMario Tennis: Power Tour. She is one of the many human characters who were created as playable characters exclusively for theMario Tennis series. She also bears a resemblance toChun-Li from Capcom'sStreet Fighter series. In theIsland Open, Mel loses in the first round toWilly, while in doubles, she and her partner,Chas, lose toClay andAce in the first round. HerOffensive Power Shot is theSlider Shot and herDefensive Power Shot is theHigh-Jump Save.
