TheMega Kantera (メガカンテラ[1], "Mega Lantern") is a single giganticLantern Ghost appearing inBandit Valley with aTetu Kantera inYoshi's New Island. Like most enemies, moving into the Mega Kantera causesYoshi to loseBaby Mario, and if Yoshijumps on the Mega Kantera, he bounces off. The Mega Kantera can swallowed to become aMega Eggdozer, like with aMega Guy and Tetu Kantera, though since the latter is nearby, Yoshi can use the resulting Metal Eggdozer to defeat Mega Kantera instead.
