AMega Eggdozer (Mega-Egg in the British English version)[1] is an item inYoshi's New Island. This massiveYoshi Egg can be obtained by aYoshi if heswallows aMega Guy, and the egg can be used to break walls or obstacles. Mega Eggdozers replace all the eggs that the Yoshi is carrying, and they also disable hisFlutter Jump. When a Mega Eggdozer comes into contact with something unbreakable, it turns yellow and then goes the other way. If that happens one more time, it turns red and finally comes offscreen after another hit. Mega Eggdozers are essential inMega Baby Bowser andBowser's boss fights. There is also a smaller metal variant called aMetal Eggdozer that can be obtained by swallowing aMetal Guy. Metal Eggdozers can only roll on the ground and can make a Yoshi sink in water; they can also destroy brick walls.
