Mega Boos,[1][2] also known asKing Boos,[3] are a subset ofBig Boo that appear in only one game,Super Mario Galaxy 2 and itsNintendo Switchport. They appear in only one mission,Haunty Halls Galaxy's "Sneaking Down the Creepy Corridor", where they followMario orLuigi through a thin hall, not stopping unless they are looked at or either brother reaches aPower Star orLaunch Star. Mega Boos are accompanied by four Big Boos, and Mega Boos are several times larger than they are.
A similar-acting enemy,Boohemoth, later appears inNew Super Mario Bros. 2.King Boo is also given a similar behavior inSuper Mario Bros. Wonder. Neither of these are accompanied by Big Boos, however.
