First appearance | Mario is Missing! (1992) |
TheMatador's Cape is an item in the DOS andCD-ROM Deluxe versions ofMario is Missing! It is a part of the outfit worn bybullfighters when they corral bulls. It is stolen byKoopa Troopas from theVentas Bullring inMadrid, andLuigi sets out to find it, albeit without knowing where it belongs. He grabs it off of a wandering Koopa Troopa, then asks various people in the city about where the Cape belongs. He is pointed towards the Ventas Bullring by a policewoman, while others tell him random facts, such as how bullfighting was used to train soldiers (it was actually a spectacle reserved for aristocracy in the past[1]). Eventually, Luigi returns it to the bullring through its information booth; he is subsequently awarded $1620.
