Masanori Sato (佐藤 正徳Satō Masanori) is a Japanese illustrator known for creating promotional artwork and providing graphic support for a large number ofNintendo games. His output spans various mediums, including hand-drawing, painting, and 3D computer graphics. Among hisSuper Mario-related works is the promotional artwork released forMario & Luigi: Superstar Saga andMario & Luigi: Partners in Time, for which he used a distinct style that was maintained in artwork made for futureMario & Luigi games.
Sato currently resides inTokyo.[2]
