Mario Stadium is the first court of theMushroom Tourney inMario Hoops 3-on-3 and the game overall. It is a standard outdoor basketball court with no gimmicks, so it is designed for beginner players. The music played is also used inGlare Desert. Mario Stadium is also where all the tutorials are held, and it plays different music in said mode.
In the background, there are stands with an audience ofShy Guys,Goombas,Piantas andToads, a large display, and some banners on the sides with theSquare Enix logo and theNintendo logo each. There is also a display showingSuper Mario Bros.-style graphics ofSmall Mario chasing twoGoombas.
