Mario Party Challenge World is an arcade game based onMario Party 9 that was developed byCapcom. It is the sixthMario Party arcade game from the same developer, as well as the twenty-first installment in the series overall. The game was released in Japan in July 2016,[1][2] and an overseas English release was planned before being canceled.[3] The main attraction of the machine is the virtual roulette board in the center. The game supports up to six players.

Mario Party Challenge World was planned to be distributed byRaw Thrills in North America, being shown (in an early form) atIAAPA 2017.[4] However, the American release would later be canceled, though several of the prototype units were still sold to various arcade locations.[3] The "final" Raw Thrills version of the game was drastically different from the Japanese original, to the point where it is effectively a different game entirely (lacking the roulette wheel, a touchscreen, etc.).[5]
