Magma Road Marathon is the twenty-sixth level ofEpisode 3 inCaptain Toad: Treasure Tracker and its Nintendo Switch and Nintendo 3DSports of the same name. It is played byCaptain Toad.
Layout[edit]
This level takes place on a rocky path above lava. Captain Toad must useDash Pads andPropeller Platforms to progress through this level, while also watching out for theCharvaarghs. The rocky path is fairly linear, with a few path splits leading to theSuper Gems.
Notably, this level received some changes on the Switch port due to the console's lack of a microphone. The Propeller Platforms at the start of the level and near the third Super Gem were replaced with automatically movingLifts, while the Propeller Platforms near the second Super Gem were removed entirely. The second Super Gem was moved further back into the level because of this.

Pixel Toad[edit]
ThePixel Toad can be found jumping in and out of the lava in the center of the circular fork-in-the-road next to the third Super Gem (on the Switch version).
Luigi Sighting[edit]
A hidden 8-bit Luigi can be seen on the ledge behind the level's Power Star.
