M. Bushes are bushy enemies found onLavalava Island inPaper Mario. Much likeHurt Plants, they pretend to be ordinary bushes, but will ambush and attackMario when he examines them. However, unlike Hurt Plants, M. Bushes can be told apart from harmless bushes by their stouter shape and lighter color. They have a low Attack Power and no Defense Power, but have a 45% chance ofpoisoning Mario with their bite, and usually attack in groups.

A group of M. Bushes traps one of theFearsome 5 in a tree, and Mario must fight them in order to rescue him.
