Long Spring
Long Springs,[1][2][3] also known asHorizontal Springs,[4] are objects that appear inMario vs. Donkey Kong: Mini-Land Mayhem!,Mario vs. Donkey Kong: Tipping Stars, andMini Mario & Friends: amiibo Challenge. They are yellow-colored springs with a rounded top, and act as the counterpart toHigh Springs.
InMario vs. Donkey Kong: Mini-Land Mayhem!, they are known asHorizontal Springs, and are introduced inArea 2-1 ofJumpy Jungle. They function similarly toBlue Springs inMario vs. Donkey Kong: Minis March Again!. If aMini approaches a Long Spring, it automatically jumps on it and bounces in a forward arc, allowing it to reach ledges above and in front of it. However, unlike Blue Springs, Long Springs are resource objects that can be picked up and placed in other locations, and they always remain in place until picked up.
Long Springs reappear inMario vs. Donkey Kong: Tipping Stars, where they are introduced inLevel 2-1 ofJumpy Jungle, as well as inMini Mario & Friends: amiibo Challenge, where they are introduced inLevel 4. They function exactly the same as inMario vs. Donkey Kong: Mini-Land Mayhem!, but in the latter gameMini Mario cannotWall Jump off walls he collides with from a bounce off a Long Spring.
