Theliquid lift[1] is anally inSuper Mario World 2: Yoshi's Island andits reissue. This creature is a water spirit wearing aFlatbed Ferry on its head. The liquid lift appears in only one room ofSalvo The Slime's Castle, where it is seen moving fluidly in a constant loop. Byjumping on its head, aYoshi can reach high areas when it stretches there. A similar creature known as aSupport Ghost appears later inSluggy The Unshaven's Fort, and it is aBlargg ghost that moves in a set obstacle course in a wide room. Its eyes use the same graphics asSalvo's.

The liquid lift appears inSuper Mario-kun when aSpray Fish is defeated, and liftsMario,Luigi, andYoshi.
