Paper Mario: Sticker Star locations

Leaflitter Path is the first level ofWorld 3 inPaper Mario: Sticker Star. The level is a basic forest-like area, withpoison scattered about that damages Mario on contact. The player first encountersWiggler here. The area is mostly shrouded in darkness before fightingGooper Blooper, the world's boss.

Layout[edit]

The level begins with an entrance to the forest. AGoomba and aSnifit can be found patrolling here. After entering the forest itself, the Mario encounters a sleeping Wiggler blocking the path. By using theTrumpet Thing Sticker, the Wiggler awakens, explaining that he is there because he had eaten so much; he had come out near the entrance to the forest because the rest of it has been covered in poison; he begins to lead them to his house to continue the discussion. As they move further into the forest, however, Wiggler is snatched by ashiny tentacle.

Continuing on through the forest, the player must cross gaps of poisonous water using wooden platforms. Near the end of the level, a pair ofBoomerang Bros. toss their boomerangs as Mario attempts to cross poisonous water on a platform. After crossing, he must defeat them in order to advance. TheComet Piece for this level is found right after them.

By returning here after defeating Gooper Blooper, the darkness shrouding the path is gone and the poison is gone. There is also an HP-Up Heart near the goal.

Kersti's comments[edit]

Outside the forest:

  • Yup, it's a forest. As forest as it gets. (NA)
  • Yep, it's a forest. I mean, just look at how...foresty it is. (EU)

Forest entrance:

  • There's no way I could ever sleep in a place like this!

In the forest:

  • That stench is POISONOUS? It stinks so bad, it MUST be! (NA)
  • That stench is POISONOUS? Ugh, it reeks so much, it MUST be! (EU)

After defeating Gooper Blooper. This comment also shows up for most levels in the world:

  • This is the way the forest SHOULD look. Quiet, green, and fragrant. (NA)
  • This is how the forest SHOULD be: quiet, green, and fragrant. (EU)

Advice[edit]

  • Before getting the Trumpet:
    • That Goomba woke up the snoozing fortress Bob-ombs... Not a bad trick for a Goomba.
  • Before paperizing the Trumpet:
    • Keep paperizing. Don't think. Just do it. ...I love paperization. (NA)
    • Keep paperising. Don't think. Just do it. ...I love paperisation. (EU)
