Lava Lair Speed Run is the second mission ofBowser's Lava Lair inSuper Mario Galaxy 2 and itsNintendo Switch port. This mission is only playable if the player collected theComet Medal in theprevious mission and while aPrankster Comet is in orbit.

Mission[edit]

To get thisPower Star, Mario must make his way to the second lava planet, on the platform where the twoHammer Bros. are fought. He must make it there within thirty seconds, because otherwise, the mission will fail. To do so, he has to getclocks to increase time.
