Laser Beam is a special ability that appears inMario Superstar Baseball andMario Super Sluggers. InMario Superstar Baseball, this ability is used byWaluigi,Bowser,Donkey Kong, and thePiantas; inMario Super Sluggers, it is used byWario,King K. Rool and the Piantas.

Description[edit]

When a character with this ability throws the ball to home base, the ball will travel much faster than normal while sailing at a much lower arc; inMario Superstar Baseball, the Laser Beam's speed depends on the character throwing the ball (e.g. Waluigi's Laser Beam is slower than Bowser's), while inMario Super Sluggers, it will always travel at the same speed.

InMario Super Sluggers, one scout mission inWario City requires the player to get a runner out with the Laser Beam throw three times. If the scout mission is completed,Boo will join the player's team.
