AKrockhead Barrel[1] (also formatted asKrockhead barrel)[2] is a type ofbarrel inDonkey Kong Country 2: Diddy's Kong Quest andDonkey Kong Land 2. Krockhead Barrels depict aKrockhead, specifically of the green type in the former game. In both games, Krockhead Barrels appear only in their respective iteration of the levelKrockhead Klamber, usually hovering in midair. IfDiddy orDixie Kong touches a Krockhead Barrel, several Krockheads emerge from the swamp, and theKongs can jump from them to travel across. However, there is only a limited opportunity to do so, as the Krockheads retreat back into the swamp water shortly afterward. While a Krockhead Barrel is active, the Krockhead icon depicted on it blinks repeatedly. If the Kongs touch a Krockhead Barrel again, the duration of its effect is reset.
