Koopie Koo is a character inPaper Mario: The Thousand-Year Door andits remake. She is aKoopa Troopa with a boyfriend namedKoops, whom she is overprotective of at first (similar toLakilulu fromPaper Mario) and pleads not to joinMario's team, becoming very angry at his insistence before withdrawing into her shell and launching at the two of them. If Mario and Koops return toPetalburg before continuing their journey, Koopie Koo apologizes to Koops and hopes he returns as a stronger Koopa.
Mario later receivesan email from Koopie Koo, who expresses her loneliness without Koops while stating she is grossed out by an odor fromKoopley, presumably because he had been inHooktail's belly for so long. Koopie Koo is also seen in thePaper Game of thePianta Parlor, as well as being the answer to aquestion of theX-Naut FortressThwomp asking the name of the girl waiting patiently for Koops to return. Koopie Koo is among the Petalburg residents to cheer on Mario and Koops during the final battle against theShadow Queen.
In the ending, Koopie Koo and Koops are mentioned in an email fromGoombella to be living together peacefully in Petalburg. Koopie Koo is also mentioned to still have Koops "wrapped around her little finger," even though he had matured.
InPaper Mario RPG Special Comic, Koopie Koo attempts to dissuade Koops from going to Hooktail Castle. When Koops refuses to listen to her, she throws him up in the air, causing him to hit Mario (in paper airplane form) and Goombella.
Physical appearance[edit]
Koopie Koo has pink short sleeves, pink shorts, and white shoes with pink soles. She also sports rosy cheeks, and has golden hair tied up in a ponytail with a pink hairband.

- Concept art shows that Koopie Koo was going to have a noticeably different design, sporting pigtails and a necklace. This concept artwork also appears to possibly be an early sprite for her in the game.
