Koopeleons areKoopa Troopas that live in theToadwood Forest inMario & Luigi: Partners in Time. They resemble a Koopa Troopa and chameleon hybrid with a purple and blue shell, green skin, large eyes, and a long, curled tail. Like chameleons, Koopeleons have the ability to change their colors to blend in with their surroundings, making them appear to be invisible. To attack, a Koopeleon runs into its foe, delivering damage. This attack can be dodged and countered with ajump attack. If damaged, a Koopeleon becomes visible.

Koopeleons have their own variant inThwomp Caverns, which are calledGold Koopeleons. These enemies have lessHP, but their other stats are much higher.
