Koopa Seven is a formBowser takes at the end ofSuper Mario Bros. 4: Super Mario World 7 of theSuper Mario Kodansha manga. His name and appearance is an obvious nod toUltraseven from the 1967series of the same name.
WithSuper Mario Great ruining his wedding withPrincess Peach and PrincessDaisy, Bowser asks for some help from theKoopa Daimyōjin statue. He gives him his powers, turning him into Koopa Seven, giving him a giant height, to the point of towering over Great, a cybernetically enhanced helmet, and a "7" on his belly (in reference to the issue, the seventh of theSuper Mario World arc). Bowser grows so big to the point of destroying theKame Star they were occupying, sending hisKoopa Troopas flying into space, while the heroes manages to board theYoshi Bird 5-gō.
During the battle, Koopa Seven has the upperhand, finishing Super Mario Great with theKameriumu Kōsen. The move results so powerful that Great has to expel Mario from his body in order to save him, but Mario refuses to let him die, giving him theMuteki Star Bracelet, turning himinvincible and making him able to destroy Koopa Seven. Like his kaiju before, Bowser blows up, leaving nothing behind. Since this volume takes place in a different continuity from the rest of the stories, this presumably kills Bowser.
