- Not to be confused withClamber.
Klambers,[1] also known asYellow Spiders[2][3][4] andScuttle Bugs,[5] areenemies inSuper Mario Sunshine. They are yellow metallic arachnids resemblingScuttle Bugs. Their name is a corruption of the word "clamber," referring to their climbing ability. Klambers are encountered inRicco Harbor andPianta Village. They usually climb cages or walls, either vertically or upside-down. Klambers can bekicked orground-pounded byMario to be defeated. Klambers climbing on solid walls can be defeated only from being eaten by aYoshi or sprayed withjuice. Spraying Klambers withwater fromFLUDD briefly immobilizes them. UnlikeRed Electro-Koopas, Klambers always knock Mario off the cage if they damage him. The reward for defeating a Klamber is either aBlue Coin (as is the case with three in Ricco Harbor), acoin, or nothing at all.
