Junk is a store located in thetown area ofShroom City inMario Party Advance. Its owner and sole employee isParatroopa. Unlike most item stores in otherMario Party games, Junk does not sell items needed to move forward or attack other players, as it is available only in single-player mode. If the player enters the store while not on a specific mission, Paratroopa informs the player that the store has not yet opened. It has two notable uses during the game: duringNerd Force V, the player needs to buy aToad Force V Figure to be allowed entry into theTFV Fan Club, and duringBestest Buds, the player must choose what is the best gift forBowser between aBracelet, aNecklace, and aRing.
