Jump the Gun is a 2-vs.-2minigame inMario Party 6 andSuper Mario Party Jamboree.
Overview[edit]
The opening sequence shows one player firing aBullet Bill to the first target, then the other playerjumps on it.
A player on each team tries to make it to the end first by jumping from Bullet Bills, which are launched by their teammate, one after the other. If a player falls off of a Bullet Bill,Lakitu returns them to the Bullet Bill they stood on the most recently. The first team to fulfill the objective wins, but if no one makes it by five or three minutes inMario Party 6 andSuper Mario Party Jamboree, respectively, it is a tie. The background music still plays if a tie occurs inMario Party 6 without the announcer saying "Tie."
In the ending, the winning team players do their victory poses, though if a draw occurs, all four players do their losing animations each.
