- “That first course was a little salty; I'm not in the mood for dessert. Yet.”
- —Jr. Klap Trap, "Booty and the Beast"
Jr. Klap Trap,[1] also calledKlap Trap,[2]Junior,[3] andGiant Klap Trap,[4] is a character who appears in theDonkey Kong Country television series voiced byRon Rubin.[1] Unlike other members of hisspecies (which are bug-sized in the show), Klap Trap is much larger, around the size ofDiddy Kong. He also has dentures, usually removed by whomever he works for whenever he annoys them. After this, he complains about his hunger, though the words come out slightly slurred.
Appearances[edit]
"Booty and the Beast"[edit]
In "Booty and the Beast", Klap Trap's teeth are stolen byKaptain Skurvy, which he attempts to regain. He later encountersDK and Diddy, whom Skurvy and his crew have tied up after they stole theCrystal Coconut. After bartering with them, he sets them free and explains his predicament througha song. After that, the three of them went to find Skurvy. Eventually, they manage to track him down, and while he and his crew are battling with Diddy and DK, Klap Trap manages to reclaim his teeth. After regaining his teeth, he devoursSkurvy's ship. Later, he comes across DK and Diddy on a dock. TheKongs are worried that he will attempt to bite them due to still being hungry, but he explains he is no longer hungrywhile winking at the audience, followed by him laughing.
"To the Moon Baboon"[edit]
Klap Trap later appears in the episode "To the Moon Baboon", where he constantly bothers the otherKremlings after they remove his dentures. WhenK. Rool attempts to destroy the Kongs' time capsule, he returns Klap Trap's dentures and offers to have him eatBluster's rocket. However, Diddy distracts him by feeding him some of Bluster's barrels, and K. Rool punishes him by taking away his his dentures again.
